Terry Wellons is the Founder & CEO of T-SQUARED Developments, a Miami-based, vertically integrated real estate investment & development firm. With over 20 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, Mr. Wellons is recognized for his innovative approach to crafting developments that significantly contribute to the enhancement of communities. With rich experience in real estate & finance, he brings deep understanding of investment strategies, intricate financial instruments, and project execution. His ability to foster strong relationships with state and local municipalities has led to multiple large-scale projects from concept through occupancy, facilitated ground-up developments and created communities that serve the needs of the local market.
Prior to forming T-SQUARED, Mr. Wellons served as CEO at NR Investments, a privately held firm focused on commercial & residential real estate. At that time, he adeptly managed all facets of the business while overseeing the acquisition, development, operation, and management of a diverse portfolio that exceeded three quarters of a billion dollars.
Mr. Wellons’ path to land development began as an attorney representing banks in their real estate lending platforms and included many of his personal private investments in real estate transactions. He is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center and holds a bachelor’s in finance, focused on accounting, from Florida International University.
T-SQUARED is currently engaged in the development of Diplomat House, a multifamily apartment community consisting of 360-units that will include 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms. The project sits on a 35-acre site located in North Fort Myers, Florida, conveniently located just 5 minutes from Downtown. The community is set to break ground in 2024 and will offer its residents “Class A" amenities with a 10-acre lake for their enjoyment.
